Q: What makes you different from other charities I support?

A: For starters, we hope you continue to support other charities in addition to A School Bell Rings. That said, we're different from some charities in the following ways: 1) In addition to building schools, we also help the communities we support by establishing ongoing relationships with local craftsmen and artists. 2) We also ask our donors to actively participate in feedback and guidance on the charity and how it evolves. We do this by pursuing feedback through donor research, online feedback and face-to-face interaction as well as directed donations. Those are just some of the ways we believe we're slightly different, and we hope you'll join us in our efforts to make the world a slightly better place.

African charity, education, teacher

This "School Bell" at the Tloma Primary School in Karatu, Tanzania, Africa was the inspiration for our name "A School Bell Rings." Our hope and dreams are to replace this and other school bells throughout the world with real, bronze school bells which will symbolize our commitment to helping impoverished children throughout the world by improving their access to education and educational facilities.
