How We Help

In the heart of Tanzania is a young boy who lives in a small village. When he finished primary school, he waited months to find out if he had been accepted to attend one of the handful of secondary schools in his region. Unfortunately, he was told that there was no room for him at the Secondary School.

This year more than 850,000 children will finish primary school in Tanzania. But the government only has room for about 12% of them to go to secondary school.

The good news is there's hope -- and that hope starts with people like you. If you're visiting this website, you've probably asked, "How can I help make the world a better place?" We asked ourselves the same question and decided a starting point would be to help impoverished children across the globe improve their access to educational facilities and institutions.

Our goal is to build schools, provide desks, buy books and do whatever it takes to help children improve their lives. Fortunately for the young boy in Tanzania, he came in contact with a charitable organization like ours and is now attending Secondary School.

The young boy's dream is to be a doctor. Our dream is to make the challenges he faced a thing of the past.

A School Bell Rings is committed to helping children around the world by building schools like this one in Tanzania.
