Who We Are Do you know that it only costs $6,000 to build a school room for young children in Tanzania? Or that $250 will buy 50 textbooks that could change the lives of dozens of children in India? A School Bell Rings is a charity devoted to improving the lives of impoverished children around the globe by providing them enhanced access to educational facilities and institutions. We accomplish this by building additional school locations and/or providing existing facilities with needed supplies and services. When you donate money or time to A School Bell Rings, your gift may be used to build a one-room schoolhouse for a village in Africa or India. Or, it may be used to pay for a teacher's salary. Your gift may even be used to buy books, build a latrine or provide clean water for a school. What's important is that your gift will be used to help change the lives of dozens of children in ways that will profoundly affect their future and well-being.
